UX Research & Testing
It is important to test objectively and user-centered. Developers and creators cannot test their own ideas and products without being influenced – that’s why UX and usability testing is an elementary key to user-friendly products and services. We do it for you.
We apply all methods of UX research – qualitative, quantitative, remote, on-site, national, international. Even during the development process, we use UX tests to see whether the direction is right – and in the case of products, what went wrong. No matter whether it’s a banking app, a store structure or a hammer drill that doesn’t sell: We have experience in finding out the reasons. We methodically observe and survey users to provide you with approaches for further development. As a result, you always receive concrete recommendations for action, initial implementation ideas or even alternative prototypes.
USABILITY TEST
Usability tests are diverse and we would like to go into a little more detail. Since that wouldn’t all fit on this page, you can learn more about usability tests around apps, websites, products and in the automotive sector here.
UX ONLINE SURVEY
Online surveys offer us the opportunity to survey a large number of users. Statistically valid and representative results help us to make strategic decisions with great impact. In online surveys, we survey rather than observe behavior. We can capture acceptance, opinion, past behavior, and requirements.
These surveys can be placed in an online panel, in the pool of real customers, or on your website or app. When evaluating, we apply proven statistical measures and analytics and combine them with our UX expertise – for extra meaningful and solid results.
QUANTITATIVE UX TESTS
In quantitative UX tests, we measure behavior or specific interaction patterns in a large sample. In contrast to UX online surveys, which ask users, we measure specific behaviors here with the help of special tools.
Thus, according to the research question, we use Card Sorting, Tree Testing, First Click Test, Landing Page Evaluator, A/B tests, etc.
The results help to compare subgroups considering the behavior, to measure patterns, and to make development-related decisions.
EXPERT REVIEW
For particularly fast and agile product evaluation and service consulting, you can engage our experienced UX experts for direct support.
Two researchers each with a trained eye for usability, user behavior and UX problems work on the comprehensive analysis of your product or concept. In the first step, we create a persona and define use cases. Then we evaluate your product or concept along the ISO 9241 standard.
CARD SORTING
With the Card Sorting method, we find out in which categories and mental models users think. For example, how they classify a product in the online store or which topics on an information page belong together for them. Such an arrangement is the basis for any information architecture, sitemap and UX structure.
We offer both quantitative and qualitative card sorting and advise you on implementation.
ONNSITE BEFRAGUNG
Onsite surveys are embedded directly on your website. Visitors can then be invited to take a short survey at the appropriate point. This can help understand what real users are looking for on your website or how satisfied they actually are. It also provides an opportunity to interact with real website visitors. Feedback and dialog are always important.
