With usability tests, we put your digital or physical product through its paces and check its usability. It usually goes like this: During one-on-one interviews, we give your users tasks – and then we observe and ask them. What do they do with it? What are they excited about, what unsettles them? What do they feel comfortable with? And why? Through the user glasses, we often discover amazing optimization potential.

Then we condense the results into insights and advise you on how to interpret them. For one purpose only: so that you can adapt your products even better to the needs of the users.

An app usability test is the nerdy little brother of usability tests. In these tests, we observe users in an exciting situation: when they are trying to understand content on fiddly little displays in an attention-demanding environment.

Do users understand and enjoy using an app even under adverse conditions? We use the latest methods to find out. We mirror the screen, apply eye tracking (yes, it works on smartphones, too), record users’ actions directly, and much more. We have already tested apps in countless application areas: Telecommunications, automotive, smart home, banking, you name it.

Website Usability Tests

Websites have to be easy to use, work well and trigger a good and safe gut feeling within seconds. Website usability tests can help you find out whether your website does this. We recommend them already during the development phase: Have defined use cases, journeys and certain interactions checked again and again for user-friendliness! This gives you the certainty that your website will be accepted.

IN CAR USABILITY TESTS

We’re going to make a bold claim: Cars with easy-to-use features are safer than those where you have to read a twelve-page essay before switching on the lane departure warning system. That’s why we believe that everything in a car – from navigation and communication to driver assistance systems – should be easy to understand and intuitive to use.  

We test the functions in parallel with development. We observe and interview users while stationary, while driving, in car clinics or in the seat box, we track their actions and record them.
